- Spruce up the Exterior and landscaping! Great curb appeal is important!
- Make minor repairs- If there are any small repairs that can be made to make the house more appealing, do it!
- Declutter- Clean up any unnecessary clutter; make the house feel open and welcoming
- Neutralize– Use neural colors & Decor
- Depersonalize- Remember, you’re trying to sell. Try to make the house less personalized and more general
- Take down anything on the fridge– pictures, magnets, etc.
- Purge Furniture – Make the rooms look spacious
- Clean- Give a deep clean to get rid of any dirt and/or odors.
- Organize– cupboards, kitchen sink, etc. Buyers potentially look everywhere! J
- Clear off counters and table tops– Make sure that everything is put away and there isn’t a lot of noticeable clutter in the kitchen.
- Add some pizzazz– If the kitchen looks bare, add a quick inexpensive centerpiece to jazz it up.
- Make the house smell good– add a scented oil warmer or air freshener.
- Light is good- turn on some lamps/ lights before showings; it gives the home an inviting feel for potential buyers.
